Thai Massage for Couples/Friends

This mini workshop is designed to provide you with Thai Massage techniques you can do on your friends/family.  Traditional Thai Massage is done on the floor, fully clothed.  There's stretching, kneading and compression to help improve circulation and stiffness. Posture & Body Mechanics will be addressed.  You'll get the benefits of doing yoga whether you're the giver OR receiver.

All props will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own.  Dress in loose, comfortable clothing and, dress in layers.  Spend 2 1/2 - 3 hours doing something FUN and RELAXING.  

Each participant will have the opportunity to experience and provide general Thai Massage.  The lower extremities will be addressed in both November classes. *Front side of the body.  **Back side.

Space size is limited to 12 and registration IS required.

Monday - Friday  9:00 am - 4:00 pm   
60 LIVE contact hours.  *CEU's available   Class size limited to 12 students.

Learn to give and receive a 2-3 HOUR Thai Massage session, which includes a blend of Physical Therapy, Thai Massage, Massage Therapy, and Yoga Principles.  In class you will learn gentle hands-on techniques to comfort your client, friend, family or loved one.  Take advantage of this blended modality.  Learn skills that will last FOREVER.  Touch is essential. 


A yoga mat/pad, blankets and pillows, however, everything will be at the studio for your use. If you like to bring personal items--that's UP TO YOU.  Dress in loose, comfortable clothing.  The body temperature typically drops when you become relaxed.  Dress in layers. Stay warm.  When you are on the giving end, you will be activating muscle energy, your muscles will warm up as you move.  I recommend loose, comfortable clothing.
